Submit ESTs

Information before you begin

The following submission process allows individual users and organizations to submit EST information in the form of raw tracefiles or FASTA formatted sequence information.

All ESTs submitted will be analyzed through an in-house process as shown at the bottom of the page and released in the TreeGenes repository. In addition, users may also approve the resulting sequence information to be compiled and submitted to Genbank's dbEST.

To begin, you must have a valid colleague account in the TreeGenes database. If you need to update or create a new colleage entry, please allow 24 hours for this information to be formally approved by one of our curators before proceeding with submission.

If your contact information is complete, please select 'begin submission' below and we will ask for detailed information about the cDNA library, the proposed publication, sequencing protocols, and even allows the user to modify the processing parameters if desired.

Following successful completion of the online submission process, a URL and naming instructions will be provided so that we can collect and begin processing your sequence files.
