    The Forest Genetic Resources Working Group (FGRWG)is a working group of the North American Forest Commission/FAO/UN. Its mission is to encourage and promote conservation of forest genetic resources by promoting the collection, exchange, and dissemination of information; by promoting cooperation and coordinating research, conservation, training, and exchange among member countries on genetic resource conservation problems; and by facilitating the international exchange of forest genetic resources.
