Abstracts

 

This conference will convene at the University of California, Davis.

Sessions will be directed toward the topics of:
GENE CONSERVATION
GENOMICS
DISEASE RESISTANCE


FORMAT
Three morning plenary sessions will be composed of invited papers only.

Two afternoon workshop sessions will be held. Workshops will be a combination of invited and contributed talks. There will be parallel workshop sessions on each of these afternoons.

The conference will include a field trip on Wednesday afternoon and an evening barbecue to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee - 75th Anniversary - of the Institute of Forest Genetics in Placerville.

VOLUNTEER PAPERS
Submitted papers are only being accepted within a workshop. Papers will be eccepted in the areas of:

Geographic Variation Local
Population Structure
Coservation Genetics
Applied Forest Tree Improvement
Breeding for Resistance
Molecular Forest Genetics
Students are encouraged to contribute papers! The best student talk will be presented the W.B. Critchfield Award.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Submit abstracts for all papers through this website via the abstract form page. Abstracts are due no later than July 1, 2001.

REGISTRATION
Registration occurs through this website.

Early registration until June 15, 2001. (Costs range from $155 - $200 depending on package). Last day to pre-register is Friday, July 13, 2001. (Costs range from $200 - $255 depending on package). On-site registration is possible. (Costs range from $250 - $300 depending on package).
